About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Retail or Wholesale Specialist to join our team at Eagle Poultry. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality products are available to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Processing: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, cut carcasses, sides and quarters, and prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
  • Meat Preparation: Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat, wrap and package prepared meats, and remove bones from meat.
  • Customer Service: Weigh meats for sale, cut poultry into parts, price meat products, and sell meats to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that products are stocked and displayed in a clean and organized manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or wholesale butcher shop environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
