Key Responsibilities:
  • Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels by reviewing requirements of the establishment and determining quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and availability.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers and ensure that all purchasing activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay informed about new products and trends.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Working Conditions:

The Wholesale Buyer will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

The working language is English.

Work Schedule:

The Wholesale Buyer will work 35 hours per week.
