Job Title: Wholesale Buyer

Best Office Inc. is seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale, negotiating prices and discounts with suppliers, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study market reports and sales promotion materials to determine market trends and consumer demand.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels by reviewing inventory and making purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiate transportation arrangements with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, considering factors such as quality, price, and availability.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
