Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster Level 3 to join our team at Crawford & Company. This role involves evaluating commercial auto and property claims through loss investigation and negotiation of settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating coverage, liability, and quantum of claims
  • Negotiating and settling claims in accordance with provincial licensing requirements
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting of claims
  • Working with managers to maintain client relationships

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Minimum 6 years of technical claims handling experience in commercial auto and property claims handling
  • Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field (asset)
  • CIP designation or working towards CIP designation
  • Independent Adjuster Licensed with ability to maintain a full adjusting license in their home province
  • Strong computer and reporting skills, including Office 365 and Windows 10
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and mathematical ability
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
