Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work with children, youth, and families to provide a range of standard level psychology services, including psychological screening and assessment, diagnosis, interventions, rehabilitation, prevention, and promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological services to patients and their families, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and implement services that align with best practices and ethical and professional standards.
  • Provide input to the interprofessional team related to psychological factors, barriers, and dynamics that influence client treatment planning, participation, outcomes, and team functioning.
  • Consult and collaborate with teams and community services to provide comprehensive care.
  • Supervise psychometrists, provisional psychologists, and/or masters-level psychology students.
  • Contribute to program, policy, and procedure development, and participate in formal research initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited university program.
  • Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
  • Five years post-graduate experience working with children, youth, and families with complex needs.
