As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based psychological treatment interventions to clients referred by Veterans' Affairs Canada and Department of National Defence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessment instruments.
  • Design individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological treatment interventions.

Program Overview:
Carewest's Operational Stress Injury (OSI) Clinic is an outpatient clinic funded by Veterans Affairs Canada that supports former and current Canadian Forces members, and members of the RCMP suffering from an Operational Stress Injury. Our team is dedicated to providing specialized assessment and treatment to those in need.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master's Degree in Psychology required; PhD preferred.
  • Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
  • Experience in delivering effective individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Experience working with members of the military or police forces preferred.
  • Experience in treating anxiety disorders, including PTSD, preferred.
