**Job Summary:**

Actionmarguerite seeks a seasoned Volunteer Services Supervisor to oversee the recruitment, management, and engagement of volunteers. This role requires a professional with exceptional communication skills, organizational agility, and a passion for building relationships.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support our programs and services;
  • Develop and implement effective volunteer engagement strategies to enhance the overall volunteer experience;
  • Cultivate relationships with community partners, organizations, and stakeholders to promote our mission and values;
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases related to volunteer activities and outcomes;
  • Collaborate with staff members to integrate volunteer efforts into our operational plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, non-profit management);
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in volunteer management or a related field;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a long-term care setting or with vulnerable populations;
  • Knowledge of volunteer management best practices and standards;
  • Fluency in both official languages (English and French) or willingness to learn French.
