We are seeking an experienced Indigenous Justice Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising Bail Court orders and monitoring bail release conditions. You will also provide support to Indigenous and non-Indigenous clients in the Bail Verification Supervision Program.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Bail Court orders and monitor bail release conditions
- Provide support to clients in the Bail Verification Supervision Program
- Work with clients using a culturally appropriate approach
You will work closely with our interdisciplinary social justice team to ensure that our clients receive the best possible support. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indigenous culture and history, as well as knowledge of the Bail Verification and Supervision Programs in Ontario. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
