Advanced Hematology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Hematology Nurse Specialist to join our Complex Malignant Hematology Program at the University Health Network. This critical role will involve providing high-level care and management for patients with malignant diseases.

Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Advanced Hematology Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Caring for patients with malignant hematology diseases, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma
- Providing expert management and support to patients and families throughout their treatment journey
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participating in research and education activities to advance knowledge and skills in the field
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in nursing or a related field
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Registration in the Extended Class (EC)
- Demonstrated expertise as a Nurse Practitioner
- Up to five years of relevant experience, including three years in malignant hematology
- Certification in Oncology Nursing or commitment to obtain certification when eligible
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
