Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our Bach-Simpson division, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electronic equipment for trains. As a member of our monitoring team, you will work closely with other engineers to bring new products from prototype to production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and verify electrical circuits, schematics, PCBs, hardware fixtures, and test jigs
  • Create accurate BOMs, Test Instructions, Assembly and Wiring Instructions
  • Review drawings, BOMs, Test Instructions, Customer Specifications, test specifications, procedures, and Wiring Instructions for accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards via testing and certification processes
  • Embedded C Programming and testing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in circuit design, with a strong portfolio of successful projects
  • Proficient in electronic design software (Altium Designer and OrCAD)
  • Experience in circuit theory and PCB design principles
  • Knowledge of electronic and electrical systems design and programming
  • Programming experience in C and experience with real-time, multi-threaded, or memory-constrained operating systems
  • Knowledge of testing and certification standards relevant to electronic equipment
  • Able to read, understand, and apply procedures
  • Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
