Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Reitmans (Canada) Limited. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates to achieve sales and profit goals, while providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a Team: Direct and lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales and profit goals, while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Customer Experience: Ensure that customers receive an exceptional shopping experience, with a focus on sales, customer service, and fashion expertise.
- Merchandise Strategies: Implement effective merchandise strategies to drive sales and achieve business objectives.
- Store Operations: Oversee store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Store Manager, District Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless store operations.
- Leadership Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience in a customer experience-based environment.
- Sales Performance: Proven ability to lead teams to success through strong sales performance.
- Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent. Post-Secondary is an asset.
- Availability: Ability to work weekends and evenings.
