We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to lead our Pressure and Vacuum/Firewater operations at our Horizon site.
Key Responsibilities- Endorse and promote a strong safety culture, leading by example and conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Provide leadership support to Pressure and Vacuum and Firewater supervisors, guiding them in their daily assignments and helping to overcome challenges.
- Motivate and lead a team of over 80 employees, driving operational efficiency and achieving business goals.
- Collaborate with QA/QC, leadership, and clients to plan and forecast operational requirements, ensuring seamless execution.
- Conduct equipment fleet audits, manage non-compliance, and hold team members accountable to industry and company standards.
- Collaborate with HSE Specialist to maintain a proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.
- Complete procurement tasks to ensure availability of critical spare parts and operational needs.
- 5-10 years of proven leadership experience with references.
- Successful progression through roles, with previous experience in leading a large team.
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite and solid understanding of safety and training legislation.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License; Class 3 or 1 considered an asset.
- CSTS and OSSA Regional Orientation or OSSA BSO (Basic Safety Orientation before December 31, 2018) or CSO (Common Safety Orientation after January 1, 2019).
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
