Job Title: Operator, Pressure & Vacuum Division

CEDA is seeking experienced Operators for our Pressure & Vacuum division at our Fort McMurray, AB location on Suncor, Syncrude and Mackay River sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Vacuum trucks, High Pressure Water equipment and various specialty tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside Labourers to operate and maintain equipment
  • 90% of your day will be spent outside of the truck, boots on the ground
  • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour-intensive capacity
  • Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment
  • Ensure safety for all team members and property
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
  • Work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
  • Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
  • Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years
  • 1+ years of labour or operator experience in an industrial environment
  • Willing to get CSO certification (or combination of CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional or BSO)
  • Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset but not required
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
