Job Summary

Lyman Huestis & Son Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Driver to join our team. As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that the truck is in good working condition, perform routine maintenance tasks, and address any issues promptly.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate transportation routes, schedules, and cargo loads to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment and following safe driving practices.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D) are mandatory.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and sit for extended periods is necessary.
