Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at NB Caregiving. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to our clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Administer medications as required
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • First Aid Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:
  • Non-smoking environment
  • Work in employer's/client's home
  • Willing to relocate
