Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at NB Caregiving. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with medication management and administration
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to alleviate loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking and exercise
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the care team
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., health care aide, personal support worker)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • First Aid Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Criminal record check and medical exam
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
