Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at NB Caregiving. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring clients receive adequate nutrition
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in activities and conversation
  • Assist with medication management, ensuring clients take their medications as prescribed
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as healthcare or social services
  • Completion of a recognized training program in home support or a related field
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic
