Quality and Compliance Departmental Manager

Reporting to the Quality Technical Manager, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the company's Quality & Food Safety System in accordance with certified standards.

  • Ensuring work activities and standards within the Quality Department are adequately described and recorded.
  • Driving the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Quality & Food Safety Management System.
  • Attending to document-controlled administration of approved system policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with the investigation of non-conformities and identifying root causes.
  • Ensuring non-conformances and customer complaints are registered and trend graphs are maintained.
  • Ensuring product release is done timely and documentation is available on request.
  • Managing the scheduling of and communication with certification bodies.
  • Directly supervising the Food Safety Administrator and Quality Laboratory Supervisor.
  • Training Quality staff to improve their understanding and execution of duties.
  • Supporting the Technical & Quality Manager with priority activities.

Requirements include a B.Sc. in Food Science or Diploma in Food Technology, training attendance certification in PRP, HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and auditing principles, and 3-5 years of experience in quality management of food manufacturing enterprises.

Key skills include excellent administrative, planning, coordinating, and organizing skills, leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, computer literacy, and interpersonal skills.
