Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare practitioners
  • Prepare and process prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Interact with patients and clients through various channels, building strong relationships and trust
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and staff of the pharmacy, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Pharmacy Assistants, promoting their growth and development
Requirements
  • Completed an accredited university-level degree program in pharmacy
  • Successfully completed provincial and national examinations demonstrating competence in pharmacy practice and applicable pharmacy laws and standards of practice
  • Understanding of healthcare and pharmacy laws governing pharmaceuticals, pharmacists/technicians roles, and pharmacy operations
  • Proficiency in Kroll software is considered an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse clientele
  • Patient, kind, and approachable demeanor
