Early Childhood Educator/Assistant Role

At Bright Path Kids, we are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator/Assistant to join our team. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and engaging environment for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with instruction in the classroom, working closely with teachers and families to ensure a positive learning experience.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that promote children's involvement and participation.
  • Establish strong relationships with colleagues, management, and families, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized classroom, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, Early Childhood Assistant Certification, or Registered Early Childhood Educator.
  • Meet the province's requirements for childcare employment.
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR certification.
  • Current immunization and health assessment as per local Minister of Health requirements.
  • Experience in planning and implementing programs.
