The Childcare Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our childcare programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing effective strategies to enhance program quality and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of the How Does Learning Happen curriculum approach in multiple sites
  • Liaise with parents and community partners in a professional manner
  • Ensure program policies and procedures comply with relevant regulations
  • Evaluate program quality utilizing audit tools and systems
  • Manage budgets for multiple sites
  • Build and maintain strong community partnerships
  • Process registrations and monitor enrollment
  • Assist with onboarding new staff

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Early Childhood Educator Diploma or degree in a related field, combined with 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
  • Vulnerable Criminal Reference Check
  • Up-to-date immunizations
  • Ability to use frequent light to medium physical effort

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
