Job Title: Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team at Carewest Innovative Healthcare. As a key member of our interprofessional healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our clients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for observing, monitoring, and reporting on client status, including changes in physical and emotional status. They will also ensure that changes in client status are reported to the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role requires the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, as well as physical capability to manage frequent lifting, transferring, and repositioning of clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver prescribed medications accurately as per policy and procedure.
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times, adhering to Carewest's Frame of Reference, Philosophy of Care, and policies.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from Grade 12 is required, plus graduation from an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program.
  • Active and current registration in the Alberta HCA Directory is required.
  • Related experience in a healthcare facility is an asset.
