Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team at Carewest Innovative Healthcare. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to our clients, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver prescribed medications accurately and safely
  • Monitor and report on client status, including changes in physical and emotional status
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to clients and their families
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Physical ability to manage frequent lifting, transferring, and repositioning of clients
  • Active and current registration in the Alberta HCA Directory
