Job Title: Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Nursing

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Nursing. The successful candidate will be appointed as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at UBC and will hold the newly established Providence Health Care /UBC Professorship in Indigenous Cultural Safety and Nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an independent program of research focused on advancing Indigenous Cultural Safety in Nursing
- Contribute to teaching, mentorship, and clinical services aligned with the focus of the Professorship
- Work with colleagues across PHC and beyond to ensure that advances developed through their research will be applied to nursing and interprofessional practices throughout PHC sites and provincial and national health systems
Requirements:
- Practice experience in nursing
- Earned or nearly completed a PhD in nursing or a related discipline
- Registered or eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching
Benefits:
- Salary will be commensurate with level of educational preparation and experience
- Expected salary range for this position is $110,000/year to $135,000/year
