Stationary Engineer

About the Role
The 4th Class Stationary Engineman is a key member of our facilities management team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems. This includes conducting regular inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to service calls in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of building systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of parts, to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues with building systems and equipment, using analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning within established standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to requests and ensuring that all issues are resolved to the satisfaction of our clients.
Requirements
- Stationary Engineman certification (MMF class 4)
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Proactivity and initiative, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in software applications relevant to the role
