Pizza 73 Food Counter Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Pizza 73. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and package food items, including pizzas, salads, and sandwiches.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the food preparation area, counters, and dining area.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.

Language: English. Hours of Work: 35 hours per week. Duration: Permanent.
