Sustainability Director

Finning is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Director to lead our global sustainability strategy, ensuring compliance and governance, and driving business growth through sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with company objectives and industry trends.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute sustainability initiatives, ensuring integration with corporate policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze sustainability trends, regulations, and legislation, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure sustainability practices are embedded in company operations.
- Develop and maintain a sustainability reporting framework that meets global standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry groups, to promote Finning's sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with commercial leaders to gather insights on customer sustainability expectations and inform company initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of ESG regulatory requirements and trends nationally and globally.
- Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, CDP, and SASB.
- Strong project management skills, with proven ability to plan, organize, and lead.
- Persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to present to senior leadership internally and externally.
