Rental Service Supervisor Job Description

Rush Car & Truck Rentals Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Rental Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our rental staff, ensuring seamless customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of rental staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Assign sales workers to duties, manage inventory, and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Human Resources: Hire, train, and develop staff members, conduct performance reviews, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operations Management: Establish work schedules, authorize payments, and oversee the return of merchandise, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language required
