Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Rock Country GMC. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues in vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Discuss work with supervisor to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are running efficiently
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
Work Environment

As an Automotive Service Technician at Rock Country GMC, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and manual dexterity. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dusty and dirty environment.
