About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Electrical Draftsman to join our team at BBA. As an Electrical Draftsman, you will play a key role in creating detailed electrical designs and plans for our clients in the energy and natural resources industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed electrical designs and plans using AutoCAD and other design software;
  • Collaborate with our team of engineers and technicians to ensure that designs meet client requirements and industry standards;
  • Participate in the development of new designs and technologies to improve our services and stay ahead of the competition;
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and assist in the training and development of new staff;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure that our designs and services are always current and effective.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
  • 5 years or less of experience in electrical drafting and design;
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards;
  • At least intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office.
