Overview of qualifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field;
  • Up to five years of relevant experience;
  • Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association;
  • Experience in designing instrumentation and control systems;
  • Familiarity with programming control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS);
  • Willingness to travel as needed;
  • Availability for short- and long-term assignments at client locations;
  • Asset: bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written;
  • Asset: interest or relevant experience in automation and instrumentation, particularly in the mining or energy sectors;
  • Asset: knowledge of ABB's 800xA control platform.
