Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled EDA CAD Engineer to join our team of dedicated engineers focused on advancing EDA CAD methodologies and environments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting Synopsys EDA CAD environments and methodologies for IC Design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining robust CAD tools and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of IC design processes.
  • Applying software engineering methods and theories to research and solve technical problems, ensuring high-quality design methodologies.
  • Defining and selecting new software engineering approaches to CAD environments, driving innovation through integration of the latest PDKs and FDKs.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation and training materials for the CAD tools and methodologies, improving team productivity with well-documented and user-friendly CAD tools.
  • Writing scripts in Perl, TCL, and UNIX Shell to automate and enhance CAD processes, streamlining design verification processes with effective scripting and automation.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of direct industry-related experience in semiconductor design, including strong UNIX/Linux skills and experience.
  • Proficiency in running and debugging DRC, LVS, and Extraction runs, as well as experience with Schematic, Layout, and spice simulation.
Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year
