Senior Mechanical Designer

At Advance Millwrights Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment, including conveyor systems, heavy machinery, and other industrial equipment.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure design projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize CAD software, such as SolidWorks, to create detailed designs and drawings.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, manufacturing, and innovation groups.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues and implement design for manufacturing techniques.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of industrial equipment design experience.
- Skills: Expert-level knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other CAD software; comprehensive understanding of metal fabricating equipment and processes.
