Financial Reporting Specialist

At 9605 GSK Services Sp z o.o., we are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Close and Control team in the Commercial Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a set of financial activities during the monthly cycle to ensure accurate and timely postings of financial transactions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide financial activities during the monthly cycle to ensure accurate and timely postings of financial transactions.
- Deliver a timely period end close, including analysis of entries, preparation and review of journals, and preparation of internal controls activities.
- Review Balance Sheet Reconciliations prepared by Operations Centre, driving quality and resolution of open items, assessing balance sheet health, and flagging risks to be addressed.
- Work closely with Finance Partners to ensure activities are properly carried out in the accounting and reporting area, assist in resolving queries and issues, and support the annual audit process.
- Review monthly reporting of financial data as an input for group consolidation and resolve related queries.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS and SOX requirements.
Requirements:
- Accounting/Finance degree, accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent; also in progress).
- 2 years of relevant post-qualification or post-degree experience.
- Experience in Financial Reporting or Audit Firm.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience of working with internal control framework is a plus. Previous SOX experience is not required.
- Excel skills are a must, preferably advanced.
- Previous experience of SAP is preferred.
