Job Title: Financial Reporting Specialist

9605 GSK Services Sp z o.o. is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Close and Control team, supporting Commercial Market. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial activities during the monthly cycle to ensure accurate and timely postings of financial transactions.
  • Deliver a timely period end close, including analysis of entries, preparation and review of journals, and preparation of internal controls activities.
  • Review Balance Sheet Reconciliations prepared by Operations Centre, driving quality and resolution of open items, assessing balance sheet health, and flagging risks to be addressed.
  • Work closely with Finance Partners to ensure activities are properly carried out in the accounting and reporting area, assisting in resolving queries and issues, and supporting the annual audit process.
  • Review monthly reporting of financial data as an input for group consolidation and resolve related queries.
  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS and SOX requirements.
Requirements:
  • Accounting/Finance degree, accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or in progress.
  • 2 years of relevant post-qualification or post-degree experience.
  • Experience in Financial Reporting or Audit Firm.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience of working with internal control frameworks is a plus.
  • Excel skills are a must, preferably advanced.
  • Previous experience of SAP is preferred.
