Carpenter - Residential / Light Commercial

We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team at Handyman Connection of Metro Vancouver, BC. As a skilled craftsman, you will have a variety of home improvement skills to support the growth of our business.
About the JobThe Carpenter will perform and coordinate the cutting, shaping, and installation of building materials during the construction, remodeling, or repair in a residential and light commercial setting. You must have experience as a residential carpenter and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities- Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of various types of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Determining and clearly identifying proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects.
- Evaluating customer requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting customer issues, and presenting a description of a work order to a customer.
- Current Driver's License and a background check.
- Tools, vehicle, and good references.
- Experience in the remodeling or home repair trades.
- Passing a screening process.
- Independent Contractors must carry liability insurance and workers comp.
- A smart phone and access to the internet.
