$140,000 - $160,000 per year (estimated)
About the OpportunityThe Chief Environmental and Energy Officer will lead the development, implementation, and direction of environmental and energy programs and processes to ensure best management practices, compliance with laws and regulations, risk management, process efficiency, and establishment of the highest standards.
- Develop short- and long-term strategic plans for environmental and energy initiatives.
- Provide advice to senior management on emerging trends, challenges, and solutions in the areas of environment and energy.
- Implement an Environmental Management System based on continuous improvement (ISO 14001) in compliance with the Group Standard.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- University degree in Engineering, Environment, or Energy or related field.
- Ten years' experience in an industrial setting, including management experience.
- Experience in unionized environments.
- Leadership and critical thinking skills to lead cross-functional teams as a change agent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
