Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at House of Tofu Soup. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting, with expertise in menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
This is a permanent position, working approximately 30 hours per week. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and Cook Complete Meals: Plan and execute menus, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain Inventory and Records: Manage inventory levels, track supplies and equipment, and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean Kitchen and Work Areas: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
