About the Role

Paladin Security is seeking highly skilled and experienced Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities, including hospitals and clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol interior and exterior of facilities to prevent unauthorized entry and respond to incidents in a composed manner.
  • Monitor risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, and additional breaches of security.
  • Use two-way radios and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
  • Monitor situations, cameras, property, and events.
  • Communicate effectively with personnel and visitors, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and visitors through courteous and respectful interactions.
  • Monitor and screen visitors and clients in a professional manner to grant access to the facility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Code of Conduct/Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.

Working Conditions

As a Security Officer, you will work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. You will be required to stand and walk for long periods of time. The hourly rate for this position is $19.00.
