We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker to join our team at Chapman House in Sechelt, BC. As a Mental Health Worker 2 with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with severe and persistent psychiatric illness living in a licensed group home.
**Job Summary**
In this rewarding position, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide case planning, conduct interviews with clients, and implement care plans. You will also observe resident behavior and symptoms, provide feedback on their needs, performance, and progress, and provide supportive counseling, demonstrations, and behavioral management to assist with the development of physical, social, emotional, and life skills.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Community Social Service and two years of recent experience working with individuals with severe and persistent psychiatric illness or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. You will be required to possess valid CPR and First Aid certificates, a valid BC Driver's License, and be able to operate related equipment. Additionally, you must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, and be able to work independently and within a team setting.

**Estimated Salary: CAD $51,000 - CAD $55,400 per annum** (based on 37.5 hours/week)
