Occupational Therapist 2 - Powell RiverJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Willingdon Creek Village in Powell River, BC. This role is part of our Chronic Complex Care team and will work closely with clients to achieve quality client-focused care and enable them to develop healthy patterns of occupations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients, including identifying and assessing client's occupational performance issues, planning and implementing goal-directed services, evaluating the effectiveness of the service, and preparing and maintaining records.
  • Contribute to the organization and delivery of occupational therapy services, and participate in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive client care.
About the Role

This is a regular full-time position, working 37.50 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and at least two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The successful candidate will also have current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
