Calian Group Ltd. is a leading provider of healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces.

Role Overview

This role involves providing psychological assessment and treatment services to military members at CFSU Ottawa.

Responsibilities
  • Providing psycho-diagnostic assessments with an adult population including differential diagnosis.
  • Administering appropriate diagnostic tests for psychometric assessment, interpreting the results, and preparing psychological evaluations.
  • Reporting results and interpretations of tests, interviews, and evaluations to the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Providing treatment of a variety of mental health conditions for Canadian Armed Forces members using evidence-based practice.
  • Participating as a member of the multi-disciplinary mental health team in case reviews.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited University by the Canadian Psychological Association or American Psychological Association.
  • Registered as a Psychologist and authorized for autonomous practice with the appropriate provincial licensing body.
  • 2 years of full-time, post-graduate experience, under a license for autonomous practice, within the last 5 years completing psycho-diagnostic assessments, including differential diagnosis, and providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for adults with PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, and other various mental health illnesses.
Estimated Salary Range

$100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
