We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Arms Open Counselling. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations for mental health disorders such as ADHD, ODD, bipolar, and other conditions.

In this role, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our therapy team. You will also educate and support clients and their families regarding mental health management, while staying current with best practices and research in the field.

To succeed in this position, you will need a Master's degree in nursing specializing in psychiatric/mental health, as well as current registration as a nurse practitioner in Ontario. You must have experience in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, particularly ADHD. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations for mental health disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the therapy team

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in nursing specializing in psychiatric/mental health
  • Current registration as a nurse practitioner in Ontario
  • Experience in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, particularly ADHD
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation with a 60/40 split (60% to the contractor)

Salary: $70-$90 per hour. Estimated annual salary: $145,600 - $187,200 based on 10-15 hours per week.
