Job Title: Gun Counter Sales Outfitter

At Bass Pro Shops, we're passionate about the outdoors and dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences. As a Gun Counter Sales Outfitter, you'll play a key role in helping customers find the perfect firearms and accessories for their outdoor adventures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in finding merchandise and making informed buying decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date on various makes and models of firearms and scopes, as well as hunting concepts and practices.
  • Promote Bass Pro Shops programs, including in-store surveys and in-store pick-up.
  • Maintain a visually appealing sales floor by ensuring signage, merchandise, and displays are well-maintained.
  • Respond to customer issues using good judgment and logic to resolve problems and make decisions within your scope.
  • Stay knowledgeable about outdoor trends and emerging technologies to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Assist in other areas of the store as needed to support business goals.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of sales or service experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • A Restricted and Non-Restricted Possession and Acquisition License is required.
  • Ability to evaluate customer needs and make recommendations based on those needs.
  • Superior customer service skills and ability to exceed customer expectations.
  • Good judgment and logic to resolve customer issues.
  • Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
  • Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's product knowledge is an asset.
