Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Gun Counter Sales Outfitter to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a Gun Counter Sales Outfitter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized sales support to customers, identifying their needs and making product recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Stay up-to-date on various makes and models of firearms and scopes, as well as hunting and outdoor-related activities.
  • Promote Bass Pro Shops programs, including in-store surveys and in-store pick-up.
  • Maintain a visually appealing sales floor by ensuring proper signage, merchandise recovery, and restocking.
  • Respond to customer issues in a professional and courteous manner, using good judgment and logic to resolve problems.
  • Stay knowledgeable about trends and emerging technologies related to the outdoor lifestyle.
  • Assist in other areas of the store as needed.

Requirements:

  • One or more years of experience in sales or service is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • A Restricted and Non-Restricted Possession and Acquisition License is required.
  • Ability to evaluate customers' needs and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to use good judgment and logic.
  • Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle is an asset.
