Job Summary

The physiotherapist assistant will work under the direction of licensed physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide patient care and support. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and rehabilitation programs
  • Carry out treatment programs as directed by physiotherapists and occupational therapists
  • Position patients for treatments, set up and dismantle equipment, and maintain cleanliness
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, assist chiropractor with patient health education, and collect statistics
  • Maintain clinical and progress reports, inventory, and order supplies and equipment
  • Perform general clerical duties, schedule appointments, and manage routine office functions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with MS Office and other computer software
