We are a leading provider of nursing care services, dedicated to delivering high-quality support to individuals in need. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our team, providing compassionate care and assistance to our clients.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide nursing care and support to clients in a nursing home setting, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their personal hygiene and comfort.
  • Assist with Mobility: Help clients with walking, transferring, and positioning, promoting their independence and mobility.
  • Support Daily Living Activities: Assist clients with meal preparation, serving, and feeding, as well as light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Monitor and Report: Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work collaboratively with the nursing team, other healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Nursing Aide Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting.
