About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead to join our team at Green Shield Canada. As a Data Governance Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping our data governance strategy and ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data governance frameworks and tools.
  • Provide guidance and support to data owners and stewards to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain data governance metrics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of our data governance program.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data governance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of data governance practices, policies, and standards.
  • Experience with modern data governance tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
