Job Summary:

The Home Decor Department Manager is responsible for overseeing the Home Decor department at Federated Co-operatives Limited. This role involves establishing strategies, goals, and objectives for the department to ensure consistent and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to discuss all aspects of creating, remodeling, or updating areas of their home.
  • Complete projects, source materials, place orders, and follow up with customers and projects.
  • Explain the steps and recommend products needed to complete projects, describing features and benefits of the merchandise.
  • Direct customers to specific products within the store.

Requirements:

  • You have a desire to learn and take available training courses.
  • You're familiar with home decor products and trends.
  • You have strong computer skills and experience with customer sales.
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
  • You possess a valid driver's license.
