Job Summary

The City of Ottawa's Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their team as an Advanced Sport Program Coordinator.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing program content and providing instruction, coaching, or coordination of advanced sport programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program content for advanced sport programs
  • Provide instruction, coaching, or coordination of advanced sport programs
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure program success
  • Contribute to the development of program policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Recreation or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated teaching experience or equivalent apprenticeship
  • Appropriate certification in the relevant recreation/sports program
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and/or AED certificates
  • AODA Customer Service/IASR Training
